Looking for Board Certified Behavior Analyst Applicants in North Dakota in the Fargo, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Bismarck and Minot areas. Must have experience implementing functional behavior assessments with children affected by autism, recognizing and discussing signs of autism and criteria for autism spectrum disorder, and participating in clinical teams with other autism professionals.

Job Description:
Solid knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis to include general behavioral assessment and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis and to ensure that all standard ethical procedures are met.
Solid knowledge of the behavioral impact of developmental disabilities, as well as the cognitive, educational, vocational and social challenges encountered by persons with developmental disabilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver
Applicants should have a strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments, conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments, and in designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play and skill-based curricula.
Strong applicants will have supervised experience in 1:1 education of learners with autism across educational and community settings, as well as familiarity with designing, participating in, or supervising in-home 1:1 programs for young children with autism.
Collecting, graphing, analyzing, displaying and discussing data based progress in a standardized format is a must.
Have knowledge in conducting assessments including; FBA, VB-MAPP, ADOS-2, ABBLS, etc.
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans, collect data and provide parent/caregiver training, ongoing graphing and data analysis, complete various forms for reporting and documentation to include treatment plan goal reporting with tracking and trending.
Position requires delivery of services in a variety of settings.
Qualified individuals will be able to think both analytically and creatively and have the ability to work collaboratively with fellow behavior analysts and other professionals and staff.
Provide direct behavioral interventions in individual and group sessions.
Train registered behavior technicians and direct care staff on current behavior plans.
Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Analysis Support Plans.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual paperwork at scheduled times.
Work with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized goals and checklists.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences, reviewing professional publications, attaining Continuing Education Credits to keep BCBA certification.
Timely and accurate documentation of incidents and plans.
Requires the ability to travel to various locations to meet with families, providers, etc.
Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment.

Job Requirements


Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field, preferably from an ABA accredited program
Must be currently certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Prefer 1-3 years’ experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes at least 120 hours of direct services to individuals with complex behavior problems.
Other requirements:
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others
Ability to work effectively with various technology including word processing software, internet based databases, etc.
Must maintain status of “may provide direct contact for this agency” upon completion of a criminal background check
Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet ACC driving requirements.
General knowledge of the developmental disabilities system in North Dakota helpful but willing to train.
